Quality Control Systems Specialist (all genders) LabVantage LIMS & Laboratory Applications

Your mission

The position is to be filled on a part-time basis (20 hours/week).


  • Maintain and program system master data, workflows, and configurations in the LabVantage LIMS
  • Maintain laboratory instrument computer systems
  • Serve as point of contact within Quality Control for the IT department regarding system updates and the introduction of new systems
  • Serve as point of contact within Quality Control for Quality Assurance regarding CSV activities, and actively participate in these activities
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with GMP requirements (21 CFR Part 11 / EU-GMP Annex 11)
  • First point of contact for laboratory staff on LIMS-related issues
  • Train laboratory staff on new LIMS processes
  • Further develop the paperless laboratory together with QC, IT, and QA
  • Participate in inspections and audits as system representative

Your profile

  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline
  • At least 3 years of work experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences environment
  • Experience working with LIMS and laboratory computer systems, ideally with LabVantage
  • Experience with laboratory software platforms (e.g., OpenLab, LabX) preferred
  • Fluent in German and English (speaking, reading, and writing)
