Senior Manager (m/w/d) Strategic API Sourcing

Your mission

To strengthen our global API business, we are seeking a Senior Manager (all genders) Strategic API Sourcing to expand our international partner networks, identify new synergies within the Midas Pharma Group, and support our global sales teams with in-depth expertise

Your Responsibilities
  • Establishing, qualifying, and developing international API manufacturing partners
  • Internal marketing of partner capabilities, including the creation of relevant sales materials
  • Negotiating and finalizing cooperation and distribution agreements
  • Identifying global synergies and developing joint projects within the Midas Pharma Group
  • Evaluating product pipelines and identifying new API opportunities for the Midas portfolio
  • Overseeing partner management, including business reviews, KPIs, and governance
  • Planning and conducting partner and customer visits, as well as participating in workshops and roadshows
  • Close collaboration with Sourcing, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Management, Supply Chain Management, Legal Affairs, and the International Division

Your profile

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or natural sciences (e.g., life sciences, (bio)chemistry, pharmacy, industrial engineering)
  • Excellent market knowledge and a strong network in the global API sector
  • Experience dealing with regulatory, technical, and quality requirements (e.g., DMF, CEP, GMP)
  • Expertise in contract drafting and negotiation
  • Excellent communication skills, confident demeanor, intercultural competence, and a passion for networking
  • Fluent German and English language skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong service orientation, and a proactive work style
  • Willingness to travel internationally (e.g., China, India, Europe)
