Key Account Manager / Sales Manager (all genders) Intermediates

Your mission
  • Marketing & Sales of Intermediates (IM) to companies producing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries,
  • Territory France, Belgium, North Africa,
  • Budget responsibility for the sales of intermediates in your territory,
  • Selection of suitable strategic partners,
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities,
  • Establishing and maintaining strong business relations with various type of clients like API manufacturers, bio-pharmaceutical companies, API contract manufacturers, and ensure the success of these partnerships and related business arrangements,
  • Development of the strategy to achieve the intermediates sales objectives of the company in the territory,
  • Willingness to travel regularly in France and abroad.
Your profile
  • Graduation (Master’s degree or higher) in Chemistry, or Biochemistry,
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful working experiences in the field of sales of Intermediates,
  • Proven record of strong sales achievements and positive development of new business,
  • Dynamic person with entrepreneurial mind-set and excellent negotiation skills,
  • Team player with strong communication skills, strong customer and service orientation as well as ability to work with various cultural environments,
  • Ability to conduct agreement negotiations,
  • Confident handling of information processing tools (MS Office and ERP system),
  • Existing network within the API manufacturers industry, including small molecules and biopharmaceutical developers and producers in France, a plus if also in Belgium and North Africa,
  • Business fluent English (orally and written) and native French skills,
  • Willingness to travel nationally and abroad on a frequent basis,
  • Ability to organize a pro-active monitoring of your activities and implement agreed strategy.
