Your mission
As Director (all genders) Business Development you will work in a senior sales position within the company and closely collaborate with the VP of Business Development. You will identify, evaluate, perform due-dilligence and valuate new prospective NDA developments and ultimately structure them for third party licensing. As Director (all genders) Business Development, you will also be responsible for marketing and licensing certain in-house developed Platform Technologies to third party developers, manufacturer and marketers. You will be expected to negotiate and close on such licensing opportunities.
It will be your job to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase business opportunities and maximize revenues for the company. You will need to identify new opportunities for differentiated pharmaceutical drug products by searching available databases and networking with other pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, scientific organisations and academia. Further, you find potential new Customers/principals and contract development and manufacturing partners, and converts them into business partners.
You will be expected to evaluate these opportunities scientifically and, to a lesser extent, regulatorily the soundness of the business prospects. You will prepare financial business cases (P&L) for such business prospects and present to Midas management with firm recommendations. You will liaise with other functional areas within the Midas organization to prepare complete business business packages for licensing.
As Director (all genders) Business Development, you will support the long-term strategic goals of the company by continually evaluating US market conditions and new trends challenging the status quo to ensure that the company is meeting the needs of the market. You will explore ways to maximize any business opportunity by utilizing the global Midas nextwork to leverage such development into international markets.
